Pirelli MT 60 RS was developed for scrambler motorcycles, such as. the Ducati Scrambler who claim to drive on a dirt road from time to time.
The tire tread of the sizes developed for the SCRAMBLER (110/80 R18 / 180/55 R17) of the MT 60 RS has larger tread blocks of different shapes at the edge, which makes it significantly more complex than the original tire. The result is an extended contact area thanks to a lower proportion of negative profiles. This minimizes the movement of the individual tread blocks and provides a clear plus in terms of grip. Another advantage of the new profile design: the braking distance is shorter. In addition, the MT 60 RS has better stability on straights and in curves. In addition, thanks to the new tread layout, the tire rolls much more quietly on asphalt compared to the original MT 60 RS.
